• The head of the project Dr. Hristo Hristov has years of experience in the field of fine arts as a practitioner and theorist. In 2016 he successfully defended his PhD thesis on “The Cyrillic Script in the Information Society and the Contemporary Globalizing World” (ULSIT, Sofia), which focused on the adaptation and modern aspects of communication coding.
  He has a background in business semiotics and has worked on a variety of logos, brands, and advertising images, giving him a wealth of experience in understanding contemporary forms of visual communication, which often apply retro symbolism and carry archaic overtones. He lectures in Graphic Design Systems, Automatic Publishing Systems,
  History of Art and Civilization and Digital Restoration of Library Collections at the University of Library Science and Information Technologies, Sofia, Bulgaria. Dr. Hristov is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists (UBA), Comics Section. He is the author of comics, which in their essence and visualization are very close to both prehistoric art and contemporary graffiti culture. He has participated in a range of solo and collective exhibitions and art workshops at home and abroad.
• Dr. Slavyana Holtz graduated from St. Kliment Ohridski Sofia University, Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communications, majoring in TV Journalism and PR and Advertising.
  She defended her Ph.D. dissertation in Sociology and Social Sciences at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2019 on the topic “Contemporary programmers – the formation of a new ethos of work “.
  She is a Research Fellow at the Polish Academy of Sciences, Section – Social Structure and Social Inequalities, and a member of the Board of the Polish Sociological Society, Polish Academy of Sciences, Section “Sociology of Employment”. The main field and sub-fields of her research are the Sociology of modern information technologies and communication and their ethical aspects;
  The formation of new socio-cultural stratification patterns in the information society; The study of historical practices, which in one form or another are also used in the present; The Culture of algorithms and the development of artificial intelligence.
  Additional areas and sub-areas of research: the implementation of advances in neuroscience in the process of social informatization. Psychological aspects. Specializations abroad: PhD studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, School of Social Studies; Public Relations, University of Warsaw.
• Assoc. Prof. Vasil Zagorov, Ph.D, is recruited to the project team as a scientific consultant. He is a university lecturer and scientist, associate professor of book studies, library science and bibliography, Doctor of Journalism, researcher of the past of the book, and collector (Knigohranilishteto). He lectures in several disciplines at the University of Library and Information Science, Department of Library Science.
  His research interests are focused on the following areas: book studies, book history, bibliography, bibliometrics, theory and practice of mass communication, history of journalism, geographical information systems, and rare, collectible, and antiquarian editions. Vasil Zagorov is a member of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association (BBIA), Bulgaria; Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing (SHARP), USA; American Library Association (ALA), USA. He participates in international and national research projects with European and state funding.
  He is the project manager of the recently completed Digitalization of the Repertoire of the Bulgarian Literature of the Revival (1801-1878), funded by the Bulgarian Scientific Research Fund under contract № DN 05/2 of 14.12.2016. The project “Knigopis” (book writing) provides open access to bibliographic information on Bulgarian Revival print books in the period between the turn of the 19th Century and the Liberation of Bulgaria (1878). Since 2019 Assoc. Prof. Vasil Zagorov is the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal “Publisher” (Izdatel), which is being published independently by the university press “Za bukvite – O’Pismeneh” at ULSIT. The journal focuses on historical and contemporary research related to the book, print communications, publishing processes, and library and information science practices.
• Dr. Gergana Yancheva is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Library Science at the University of Library Studies and Information Technology. She received her Ph.D in Book Science, Library Studies and Bibliography in 2021.
  She actively participates in many national and international scientific forums. Yancheva is a member of the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing (SHARP) and the Bulgarian Library and Information Association (BLIA). Gergana Yancheva is a team member in many international and national research projects: „NAVIGATE: Information Literacy: Game-Based Learning Approach for Avoiding Fake Content“, „TLIT4U: Improving Transliteracy Skills through Serious Games“, “Creation and Development of an Educational and Scientific Base for Documentary and Applied Photography as Part of the Training of Students in Professional Field 3.5. “Public Communications and Information Sciences”, Digitalization of the Repertoire of the Bulgarian Literature of the Revival (1801-1878).
• Antoaneta Georgieva is a student in the Bachelor of Tourism Information Resources at the University of Library and Information Science (2019-2023). In the period 2020-2022, she is the President of the Student Council at ULSIT and a Fellow of the National Representation of Student Councils (NRSC).
  Antoaneta Georgieva is a member of the Student Scientific Society at ULSIT and has received numerous scientific awards and certificates. She actively contributes to university initiatives and research projects like Student Round Table on “Religious Values Related to the Environment – Endangered Intangible Religious Heritage” (2019); International Summer Leadership Academy “Building Leaders – National Priority of the State” (2021); National Summer Student Games “Summer University” (2021-2023) and project on “Analysis of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Koprivshtitsa”, NIP-2020-7.
• Kristian Boyanov completes his high school education in Vidin, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Professional High School “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” with a profession “Computer Systems Technician”. During his studies in high school he acquired a certificate of vocational training, a certificate “Cambridge English Entry Level Certificate in ESOL International”, as well as a Certificate “Practice for working with customers and citizens” under Erasmus+.
  In 2022, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. Currently, he is studying at ULSIT in the Master’s program “Information Systems and Technologies”. In 2018, he became a member of the John Atanasov Computer Laboratory at ULSIT, as a technical support assistant.
  His main responsibilities are related to the support and development of modern information and communication technologies at ULSIT; providing the facilities and software for information and communication technologies training. In 2022 Kristian Boyanov takes a new position in the computer laboratory – Information Technology Coordinator. In 2019 he was awarded by the “University Youth Academy for Knowledge Management” at ULSIT with a special award “Apple of Knowledge” in the category “Outstanding Student. During his studies, he acquired MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications, which enriched his knowledge related to installing and configuring routers and switches in local and larger networks, detecting and troubleshooting problems, optimizing networks, and taking care of security and protection from attacks.
• Martin Marinov is drawn to the project’s team as an associate in developing the website. He graduates in 2021 from 101 Secondary School “Bacho Kiro”, Sofia, Bulgaria.
  During his high school education he participated in internships in educational companies based on a project of Junior Achievement Bulgaria. Martin Marinov begins his bachelor’s education in ULSIT, field of study 4.6. Informatics and Computer Science during October 2021. At the beginning of 2022 he became a member of the “John Atanasov” Computer Laboratory of ULSIT as a technical support associate. During his education at ULSIT Martin Marinov acquired a Mikrotik Certified Network Associate certificate.
